Privacy Policy

Stok Gözlükhas designed privacy not as a marketing promise but as the core of its business model: on the platform, buyers and sellers trade with full assurance without ever seeing each other's identity. This policy sets out clearly who can see which information and how your data is collected and used.

1. Consent-Based Data Collection — How We Grow

• All personal data on the platform is created by businesses registering themselves and entering their own information into the registration/profile forms. The system and its data grow organically in this way.
• Stok Gözlük never buys, scrapes, or bulk-imports contact lists. It never sends unsolicited (cold) email to anyone.
• Your contact details, such as email and phone number, are used for system notifications only after you enter them yourself during registration and provide the required consent (explicit consent).

2. Email, SMS and WhatsApp Notifications

• The emails and messages we send you are solely transactional/service-related notifications: one-time login code (OTP), order confirmation, payment/escrow status, shipping and delivery updates, and security alerts.
• These notifications relate only to transactions on your own account; every recipient is a user who created their own registration and gave consent.
• WhatsApp / SMS verification codes are only for login security and are sent when you enter your number yourself during registration.
• We do not send bulk marketing/promotional email without your consent. You can opt out of any notifications you have consented to at any time (account settings, the unsubscribe link in the email, or kvkk@stokgozluk.com).

3. Anonymity Between Parties

• The other party cannot see your legal name, your name, or your tax information. The only things visible in search and in listing details are: your city, your rating, your number of completed transactions, and your membership year.
• There is no free-form messaging channel between parties on the platform; all interaction proceeds through structured flows (request, order, shipping, dispute).

4. Shipping and Delivery

The shipping label is generated automatically by the platform. As required by the carrier for delivery to take place, the buyer's name, address, and phone number appear on the label, and the seller who sends the package prints this label. This information is only on the label of the relevant shipment; it is not kept as a searchable address book in the seller's panel. So that the buyer does not see the seller's identity on the package, the sender is masked with the brand name (Stok Gözlük).

5. k-Anonymity in Market Analytics

The market reports provided to importers and brands are produced only from anonymized and aggregated data. If any breakdown contains fewer than 5 businesses, that data is not shown at all; no report allows the identity or stock position of an individual business to be inferred.

6. Payment Information

Your card details never reach the Platform's servers at any stage; collection takes place on the secure payment page of the licensed payment institution (iyzico). The Platform stores only the transaction reference and masked summary information.

7. Legal Exceptions

• The e-invoice that must be issued after a transaction is completed is delivered only to the counterparty of the relevant transaction and contains the information required by legislation.
• During a dispute review, the support team accesses the records necessary for resolution; these records are shared with the parties only to the extent necessary.
• Lawful requests from authorized public authorities are reserved.

8. Third-Party Services

Only the minimum data required for the service is shared with payment (iyzico), shipping (Geliver and contracted carriers), email/WhatsApp notification, and artificial intelligence (product photo recognition) service providers. 9. Data Security

Data is encrypted in transit with TLS; passwords are stored irreversibly (argon2id); critical financial transactions are tied to an audit log. For details, see the Security Policy.
