Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern the use of the escrow-payment B2B trading platform dedicated to optical-sector businesses, operated by Senem ÖZDEN (Stok Gözlük) at stokgozluk.com. By becoming a member of the Platform, you are deemed to have accepted these terms.

1. Nature of the Platform

• Stok Gözlük is an intermediary marketplace bringing buyer and seller businesses together; it is not the owner or seller of the products sold in the listings.
• The Platform is open only to verified optical-sector businesses (stores, importers, brands); no sales are made to end consumers.
• Only brand-new and genuine products may be listed on the Platform.

2. Membership and Verification

• During the membership application, the business's commercial information (legal name, tax number, authorization documents) is requested and reviewed by the verification team.
• Accounts that provide misleading information, have forged documents, or are found to be outside the sector are closed.
• You are responsible for the security of your account information and password.

3. Escrow-Payment Transaction Model

• The buyer's payment is held in an escrow account at a payment institution licensed under Law No. 6493; Stok Gözlük never touches this money at any stage.
• Payment to the seller is transferred after the buyer confirms delivery (or by automatic confirmation 72 hours after delivery).
• Once notified that the payment has been placed in escrow, the seller is obliged to hand over the product to the carrier within 48 hours.
• The buyer may report an issue within 72 hours of delivery; in that case, the escrow is frozen and an impartial review begins.

4. Commission and Fees

• Membership and listing are free of charge.
• Only a 6% commission on completed sales is charged to the seller; if no sale takes place, no fee arises.
• A 4% platform service fee is charged to the buyer on the product price; it is shown clearly in the order summary before payment.
• The shipping cost is borne by the buyer; the amount and all line items are shown clearly before the order.

5. Anonymity, Delivery and Communication Rules

• The buyer and seller do not see each other's identity before the sale or within the platform; all interaction proceeds through the platform's structured flows.
• So that delivery can take place, as required by shipping legislation, the buyer's name, address, and phone number appear on the shipment label; the sender is masked with the brand name (Stok Gözlük). This information is only on the label of the relevant shipment.
• Attempting to communicate outside the platform or writing contact information into listing/message fields is prohibited and is grounds for account closure.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Listing counterfeit, replica, or products of unknown origin,
• Intentionally misleading in price or stock information,
• Using the Platform for fraud, money laundering, or any other unlawful purpose,
• Using another member's account without authorization or technically interfering with the systems.

When such conduct is detected, the account is suspended; where necessary, the matter is reported to the legal authorities.

7. Limitation of Liability

• The seller is responsible for the quality and defects of the product; Stok Gözlük conducts an impartial review during the dispute process.
• The Platform is provided "as is"; uninterrupted access is not guaranteed, and scheduled maintenance is announced in advance.

8. Intellectual Property

The design, software, trademark, and content of the Platform belong to Senem ÖZDEN and may not be copied without permission. Listing images are content for which the listing owner has granted publication rights on the Platform.

9. Changes and Termination

• These terms may be updated; material changes are announced within the platform, and the current version is published on this page.
• A member may close their account at any time; ongoing transactions (orders in escrow) are expected to be completed first.

10. Governing Law and Contact
